My Review
It required only a small degree of acceptance on my part to sweep aside any technical challenges I might have to the plot and in the spirit of Roald Dahl's 'Tales of the Unexpected' I quickly became absorbed and read this novella in one hit. Kathy Connor has been subject to domestic violence since day one of her marriage. Her problem is nobody believes her and think that her husband is nothing but a long suffering saint to stand by her despite her presumed mental illness. What enfolds is a very clever plot. Now I'm keen to read some of John Nicholl's full length novels.
