My Review
Phew! That's how I felt after this short sharp adrenaline puncher, packed with tension, suspense, action, terror, sex., or whatever else it is that may be missing in your life, you can be sure to find it in this 93 page novella which is the sequel to one of the greatest thrillers ever written, 'The Magpies." Lucy Newton, the neighbour from hell, is released from prison on appeal against dodgy DNA evidence that had convicted her. Her victims Kirsty and Jamie are now living apart, when Jamie is contacted by Anita who stated that Lucy Newton is now her neighbour and terrorising her in the same way that Jason and Lucy had previously endured. Galvanised by scores to settle, and the injustice that Lucy Newton was free, Jamie flew back from his new home in Australia, to bait Lucy Newton into going back to prison. Very much on a level with 'The Magpies,' I couldn't put this down, and it has left me wanting more.
