My Review

Made me realise how much I miss a good western

This was reminiscent of the golden age of cowboy films, Lee Marvin, James Coburn, Jimmy Stewart and John Wayne, and now we have 'The Sister Brothers' written by Patrick deWitt, recorded in as an audiobook by Audible with brilliant narration from William Hope who was Marvin, Coburn, Stewart and Wayne all in one. Set in 1851, the Sister Brothers (great name) are notorious hired killers on a mission to Hermann Kermit Warm. The story is starts out in Oregon and they journey to California to find their prey during the Gold Rush. I feel sad I've finished it now because I've got nothing to replace it with. Guess I'm going to have to listen to it again.
