My Review
Having read all of this author's books from her debut, I have come to the conclusion that if ever I needed an expert witness on secrets and lies in court, I would call on Caroline England. Her latest book Sinners is no exception, in fact it's even better than that, it's her best domestic thriller ever.
Dee Stephens is the vicar's wife. He was considerably older than her, and continued over the years as he started as the 'adult' in their relationship and the one who is always right. With her live-in mother-in-law from hell, who watched her every move and kept Dee in line with her scathing tongue. Dee had long since accepted that this was her lot, and nothing was going to change... unless there is a trigger point in her relationship that will open her eyes and lead her into the path of temptation.
The vicar's wife embarks on an affair with Cal, and in true Caroline England style, more secrets and lies unravel in towards an unpredictable conclusion.
The Winner Winner is "The Sinner."
